A few of the instructions in this workshop suggest navigating directories or creating files from a command line (aka terminal). Everything in this workshop can also be done in GUI applications.
If you choose to use the command line, the following resources may be helpful in familiarizing yourself with it. There are instructions for both Linux/Mac and Windows.
